Sermet Baysal

Sermetcan is a Staff Applied Scientist at Quantcast. He leads initiatives in extracting web page semantics and decoding online audience behavior to construct an internet-wide topic map leveraged in online advertising. Before joining Quantcast, he earned a PhD in Computer Science specializing in Machine Learning (ML). Subsequently, he co-founded two successful startups: one offering real-time sports video analysis, providing performance data and insights to elite football clubs; the other providing AI-based visual recognition models as a service.
