Jean-Paul (JP) Schmetz is the Chief of Ads and a board observer at Brave Software. In 2008 he founded and led Cliqz, which in 2021 became Brave Search. In addition to his work at Brave, JP is Chief Scientist at Burda, and is involved in the management of various technology companies across the United-States, Germany, and Vietnam. He holds three university degrees, including a Master's in Computer Science from Stanford.
